ARES International Training Scholarships (Wallonia-Brussels)

Overview

Run by ARES (Académie de recherche et d'enseignement supérieur) for the French-speaking Wallonia-Brussels Federation, this scholarship funds bachelor's degrees, specialised one-year master's degrees, or short professional development courses in Belgium for applicants from ARES partner countries. Funding

Full tuition/registration fees, a monthly living allowance (€1,150/month), an arrival allowance, insurance, and international round-trip flights

Eligibility

• Permanent resident of an ARES partner (developing) country
• Hold a relevant higher education degree
• Have professional experience in a development-related field
• Admitted to an eligible programme at a Wallonia-Brussels Federation institution
• Calls open periodically — check ares-ac.be for the current cycle's deadlines, as calls are not open year-round

How to Apply

1. Confirm you are from an ARES partner country and have at least two years of relevant professional experience
2. Register and apply online via the GIRAF platform

4. Submit before the deadline — once submitted, the file can no longer be modified
5. Await ARES's selection results
