Overview
A flagship Malaysian Government scholarship, run by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1980, funding postgraduate (and some postdoctoral) study in Malaysia for citizens of developing/partner countries as part of South-South cooperation.
Funding
Tuition fees plus a monthly allowance of about RM3,500; scholarship duration of 24-36 months for Master's programmes
Eligibility
- Must be a citizen of an MTCP recipient/partner country
- Applying for a full-time postgraduate (mainly Master's) programme in Malaysia
- Minimum Second Class Upper (Honours) or CGPA 3.5 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level
- Generally must not be older than 45 at the time of application
- Application must be endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/National Focal Point in the applicant's home country
Application Deadline
