UAEU Scholarships for International Students

Overview

The UAE does not run a single unified national scholarship for incoming international students, but government-funded universities such as United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) offer merit-based tuition-fee discounts to international applicants, including the Chancellor's Scholarships for academically elite or exceptionally talented students. Discounts range up to 100% of tuition fees depending on the category and ongoing academic performance.

Eligibility

• Open to international students (and children of UAEU staff) applying to UAEU
• High school average around 95%+ for top-tier (100%) tuition discount; slightly lower thresholds for partial awards
• English proficiency required (TOEFL iBT ~105 or IELTS 7.5 for the top scholarship tier)
• Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA (around 3.6–3.8) to keep the scholarship
• Apply through UAEU's online admission system when applying for undergraduate study

How to Apply

1. Create an account on the UAEU online admission system
2. Select your intended bachelor's, master's, PhD, PharmD, or DBA program
3. Submit academic transcripts, certificates, English test scores, and other required documents
4. Submit the completed application before the relevant intake deadline (late submissions are not considered)
5. Await an admission and scholarship decision from the university
