Banach NAWA Scholarship Programme

Overview

Run by NAWA (Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange) jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of Poland's development cooperation, this programme funds full-time master's study in Polish or English at Polish universities. It provides a monthly stipend, a tuition exemption at public universities, and a one-off travel allowance.

Eligibility

• Citizen of one of the ~36 eligible 'Polish Aid' partner countries in Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, or Latin America
• Admitted to (or applying for) a full-time second-cycle (master's) programme at a Polish university
• Meet the language requirement for the programme (Polish or English)
• Not already holding a Polish residence permit or degree
• Apply through the official NAWA online application system during the annual call

How to Apply

1. Confirm your country is among the 36 Polish Aid partner countries covered by the programme
2. Create an account in the NAWA online application system
3. Complete and submit your application (in Polish or English) with academic records and required documents
4. Submit before the deadline, noting the programme closes early once a country group's quota is filled
5. Await results, typically published by 31 July
