NORPART (Norwegian Partnership Programme for Global Academic Cooperation)

Overview

A Norwegian government-funded programme supporting academic partnerships between Norwegian universities and institutions in selected Global South countries, which includes a limited number of full Master's degree scholarships for partner-country students.

Funding

International travel costs, a monthly living allowance, academic mobility funding, and tuition support where applicable (amount set per individual partnership project)

Eligibility

• Must be a student at a partner institution with an active NORPART project (currently including countries such as Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda)
• Pursuing Master's or PhD-level study connected to the specific NORPART project
• Cannot apply directly to NORPART — must go through your home institution

How to Apply

1. Check whether your home university has an active NORPART partnership with a Norwegian institution

4. Await your home institution's nomination and the Norwegian partner's confirmation
5. Complete visa and mobility arrangements if selected
