EGYAID Egyptian Government Scholarship

Overview

EGYAID is Egypt's Ministry of Higher Education mechanism for hosting international students at its public universities, covering undergraduate, master's and doctoral study across a wide range of faculties. The scholarship pays tuition and registration fees at the host public university, with students responsible for their own living and accommodation costs.

Eligibility

• Open to non-Egyptian nationals only
• Age limits: up to 22 for undergraduate, 30 for master's, 35 for PhD applicants
• Academic transcripts showing at least a "Good" grade in prior qualification
• Medical certificate, certificate of good conduct and passport copy required
• Apply and track status entirely through the official EGYAID/Study in Egypt online portal
