What Is the Chevening Scholarship?
Chevening Scholarships are awarded to outstanding emerging leaders to pursue a one-year master’s degree at any UK university. The programme is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations.
What It Covers
- Full tuition fees for a one-year master’s programme
- Monthly living allowance
- Return economy airfare to the UK
- An arrival allowance and additional grants for research or thesis costs
Who Can Apply
- Citizen of a Chevening-eligible country (Pakistan is eligible)
- At least two years of work experience (equivalent to 2,800 hours)
- A completed undergraduate degree that enables entry onto a postgraduate programme at a UK university
- No current or previous Chevening Scholarship or Fellowship award

- Research and shortlist eligible UK master’s courses
- Complete the application form, including four essay questions
